Hoof Hearted Brewery and Backroom Coffee Roasters partnering on Brew

Local brewery, Hoof Hearted Brewing has collaborated with Backroom Coffee Roasters to produce a delicious new micro-brew beer.

The new coffee inspired beer is a line extension of the Permafrost Wheat Porter called Permafrost Especial. It is cold steeped very coarse ground Backroom

Coffee Roasters Mexican Altura coffee and de-seeded Chipotle Peppers in the already fermented Porter for 24 hrs.

We achieve an aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans as opposed to brewed coffee and the flavor of coffee ice cream. The flavor/aroma of the coffee beans perfectly complement the roasted malts and the sweet smokiness of the Chipotle.

This week Betty's is serving it and it will be poured at the Seventh Son Brewery's tasting room sneak peek party this weekend. Yabo's Tacos in Westerville is getting a keg of it next week.
